 admin writes, "Please help stop Finley Pletcher's progressive blindness. A researcher has been found that will perform research on Finley's specific gene that will help stop her blindness however funding for the research is needed. All donations to the Foundation will go 100% toward the research and any support would be appreciated."

This is 4 year old Finley Pletcher. She is Ted and Phyllis Kovall’s granddaughter. Finley has a very rare retinal disease called Leber’s Cogential Amaurosis. It is a progressive disease that is going to leave her totally blind unless research discovers a way to stop it and restore her vision. Finley’s parents, along with other RDH12 families, are in the process of establishing a foundation that will raise money to go directly to a researcher who will concentrate their efforts on Finley’s gene- RDH12.
We are asking you to help us get this new foundation off and running with donations.
Please help Finley to be able to see her family, our
beautiful world and the Disney Princess’ she
loves. Close your eyes tightly, experience that
total darkness, think of Finley and please donate.
